Your memories belong to you.

MateBloom stores your account profile, conversations, memory suggestions and approved memories, journal, plans, goals, check-ins, saved messages and preferences in Supabase. Access requires a signed-in account, and database policies restrict personal records to their owner.

You choose what becomes memory.

Suggested memories require your approval. You can edit, delete, pin or mark approved memories outdated. Turning memory off stops retrieval and new suggestions across sessions. You can also disable memory for an individual conversation.

AI processing

Your messages, a bounded recent conversation, your profile and relevant approved memories are sent to OpenAI to generate replies. Separate bounded requests can create conversation titles, summaries and memory suggestions. Requests use store: false; this does not remove OpenAI’s applicable abuse-monitoring retention. Provider retention terms and operating contact details must be finalized before public launch.

Export and deletion

Settings lets you download your own stored records as JSON and permanently delete your account and app records. An active Stripe subscription is cancelled first. Anonymous cost totals without user links remain to enforce the service spending budget. Deleting a conversation also removes its linked messages and memory records. Provider logs and infrastructure backups follow their providers’ retention policies.

Usage records

No third-party analytics are enabled. AI usage records contain model names, token counts, request status and estimated cost without conversation text. Authorized service administrators can inspect aggregate usage and adjust limits.
